On Thursday, September 14, 2023, special guest Hazrat Moulana Arshad Madani (Hafizahullah) visited Darul Ihsan Centre and addressed a large gathering of Ulama. Maulana Arshad Madani was in South Africa as a special guest of the Jamiatul Ulama South Africa's Centenary programme. Hazrat Moulana Sayed Arshad Madani is the son of the distinguished Sheikhul Islam Hazrat Moulana Husain Ahmad Madani (Rahimahullah), holds the position of a senior lecturer of Hadith at Darul Uloom Deoband and serves as the President of Jamiatul Ulama Hind in India.
Ulama from many towns and areas flocked to listen to the advice of Moulana Arshad Saheb. Attendees included senior scholars of the KZN province, principal's of Madrasahs of Higher Learning, Imams and Ulama serving in various fields of community service.
Hazrat Moulana Sayed Arshad Madani, renowned for his scholarly expertise, delivered an enlightening discourse. His address centered on the Islamic principles of "Amr bil Maroof" (enjoining good) and "Nahi anil Munkar" (forbidding evil). He provided profound insights into the application of these principles in contemporary society. Hazrat Moulana Syed Arshad Madani's address delved deep into the concepts of 'Amr bil Maroof' and 'Nahi anil Munkar'. He elucidated their importance in upholding the moral and ethical standards of society and urged the Ulama to actively promote goodness and discourage wrongdoing in their respective communities.
